INDOHIKE's story is personified by its founder, Shobhit Srivastava, whose profession and passion have shaped its vision and services. An entrepreneur based in Lucknow, Shobhit has been managing his family business of gardening, indoor plants, and a nursery for years. His extensive travels to the Himachal and Uttarakhand Himalayas have fueled his passion for adventure, leading to the establishment of INDOHIKE.

He travelled extensively to the Himachal and Uttarakhand Himalayas to learn more about the greens, floras, and faunas. In his learning process, he became a passionate mountain man, which led to his exploring more Himalayan trails in the region, initially taking small groups of friends in his adventure missions.

Shobhit today realizes the need to take the message to the adventurer's community worldwide as a keen lover of nature and a passionate mountain man. He transformed his vision and love for the Mountain into INDOHIKE's business vision, sharing his first-hand Himalayan trekking experiences with adventure seekers worldwide.

Our business mission is to connect you with the majestic Himalayas, watch the grandeur, and experience their legacy. We will do this responsibly and ethically by providing a full-service, end-to-end, all-inclusive, guided, small-group hiking experience.

Each trek we design for you combines adventure with local cultural interaction and interpretation whenever you are witnessing a golden sunrise over snow peaks early in the morning or over your morning tea with a unique local ancient story narrated by the homestay owner. Even during the day hike, porters would narrate several fascinating stories during the break. Another storytelling session could be over the campfire when you can relish your homestay compound's hygienically prepared fresh food. Most of the stories will have their roots in Hindu Mythology, Gods and Goddesses, that have been passed on to the local villagers from generation. For ages, Hindus have believed that our God and Goddesses live in the secluded regions of the Himalayas. Even during your road journey to the area, you will come across several signages and big format hoardings by the tourism department stating, "Welcome to the Land of Gods."
